What is the difference between placing a Bid and using "Buy Now"?
Placing a Bid will allow you to set how much you'd like to pay for an item, from a minimum of 30% of the price set by the Seller. If you have the highest bid price for an item on the site, it will be up to the Seller to determine if they are interested in meeting you at your offer.
“Buy Now” immediately purchases your item from the Seller with the max Bid Ask. If you don’t want to miss out on that item, this is the easiest way to lock in with a Seller and make sure it doesn't slip through your fingers. Be aware that this will be an instant sale (you will be charged straight away).
Can I cancel a Bid - once it has been accepted?
No, once your bid has been accepted, that would be an instant sale.
Can I bid for multiple items at once? For example, 3 of the same prams but from different sellers.
If you decide to place multiple bids - the first bid that’s accepted wins. When this happens, other bids are automatically removed (Per Category).
How much does shipping cost for Buyers?
A flat rate of $12.95 will be applied for all Buyers. Bulky items are a little different and will be calculated at checkout for certain zones.
(WA (all zones), HOBART, LAUNCESTON, QLD (Zone 5-10), SA (all zones), Darwin (all zones)
I bought an item and it arrived damaged/faulty - what now?
Once your pre-loved purchase arrives, you’ll have 24 hours to check, verify and contact Markot if there are any issues.
If the item arrived damaged or faulty, in order to assist the return process, you may be asked to send us a photo or video of the damage, defect or fault for preliminary assessment. Please email support@markot.com to start your claim.
Can I return an item if I change my mind?
Unfortunately we don’t accept change of mind returns for our pre-loved items. So please choose carefully. A solution that we can recommend is to re-list the item on Markot and re-sell.
