What’s the minimum transaction value for listing an item?

To maintain a curated & premium marketplace, the minimum transaction value for a pre-loved item is $60. 


How will I know if my listing is approved? What happens if it isn’t?

A team Markot curators will check your listing. If there are any changes required, you’ll receive a notification via the app. If your listing is approved, your item will be live on the Markot Marketplace.


Once my item has been sold - how long will it take for the box to arrive?

Depending on where you are based  - shipping can take 1-5 business day.


My Markot packaging arrived damaged - what happens now?

If your packaging arrived damaged, please contact customer service at support@markot.com to arrange a second delivery. 


I received my box. So when do I need to book a courier?

Once your box arrives, you’ll have 2 days to book a courier collection via the app. We don’t want to keep the buyer waiting for their beautiful item for too long :) 


What happens if I don’t book my courier pick up in time?

We’ll send you a few reminders to book your courier through both email and the app. However, if you don’t book your courier within 2-3 days of getting your Markot box, the following may may be applied: 

  • A penalty fee equivalent to 15% of the transaction price, with a minimum charge of $15 AUD

  • Restrictions to and/or the suspension of your Markot account


Someone’s bidding for my item! How long do I have to accept a Bid?

There isn’t a minimum or maximum time frame for accepting a bid. Just enjoy it!


When do I get paid for my sold item?

Once your item arrives at our warehouse, we’ll check if item is ‘as advertised’ and in good working condition. Assuming all is fine, your money will be transferred into your Markot Wallet.  


What happens if the item arrives at warehouse but doesn’t meet the listed item description or its faulty?

If item is faulty or doesn’t meet the description, your money won’t be released and the item will be returned to you. In this case, you (the seller) will be charged the return fee of $14.95.


Can I withdraw my money from my wallet at any time?

Yes, you can. You can transfer into your bank account or use as a credit on our website. It’s up to you.
