Faulty or Defective Returns

At Markot the pre-loved items you (the buyer) purchase are checked first at our Warehouse - before arriving at your door. That means you can enjoy complete peace of mind knowing that your pre-loved item is authenticated and as advertised. 


If the item doesn’t meet the description or is faulty once arrives at the warehouse - the return fee will be at the seller’s expense.


For items that do meet the description, are deemed to be as advertised, and arrive safely at your door, you will have one business day to check, verify and contact Markot if there are any issues.


If further investigation is required, we will arrange for a courier to collect the item and return it to our warehouse. If the item is then confirmed to be faulty or damaged we will refund you the money into your account. 


Change of Mind


Unfortunately we don’t accept change of mind returns for our pre-loved items. So please choose carefully. A solution that we can recommend is to re-list the item on Markot and re-sell. 


Exchanges


Due to the anonymous nature of our marketplace, we are unable to offer exchanges or swaps — again, the good news is you can always re-sell with us if you no longer want your item.
